History
Lionel's 633 Santa Fe NW2 Switcher was only manufactured for a single
year -- 1962 -- and is one of the scarcest NW2 postwar switchers. This
diesel was only available in set # 11212, which was nicknamed "The
Cyclone". Additionally, it was not offered as a separate sale item
in the consumer catalogue. Therefore, due to its limited production
numbers and high interest by collectors, locating a nice and clean
633 will be difficult and expensive.
Features
Standard features of the 633 Santa Fe switcher include: blue molded body
with yellow lettering and stripes, sheet-metal frame with black end-
railings, traction-tire, plastic-sided trucks, two-position E-unit plus
an illuminated headlight and non-operating coupler on the rear.
The 633 is an entry-level locomotive. It does not include any additional trim usually found on switchers such as a simulated gold bell, ornamental silver horn nor a front coupler!

The length of the 633 is approximately 12 1/2" long (coupler to coupler).
Only Known Variation -
All 633's are molded in blue plastic with yellow lettering and side stripes.
